Challenge #2: Apology

Hey, everyone!
Thanks for voting on the questionnaire! I've taken the feeling of the community as a whole into account, so for right now we have a tentative model of working things.
Our theme this month is "Apology", chosen by
crimsonmorgan and myself. I encourage you to take that word in any way you choose.
I've also revised the rules of the challenge, so please do look over them again.
1. Art and fic are both welcome.
2. You may also use your piece for other comms/challenges, but you may not enter an old piece (as in, posted somewhere before this challenge began).
3. Your piece must feature at least one canon character (shown or mentioned in-game) from FE8 in a prominent role. Crossovers, AUs, OCs, and anything else are permitted, so long as the piece follows that guideline.
4. There is no minimum or maximum word count for fic, or size restriction for art.
5. There are no rating restrictions - however, please tag your work appropriately.
6. The deadline is July 24th, 2011 at midnight EST. Entries will be judged by screened-comment voting by members. No deadline extensions will be given.
That's all. Questions and concerns may be posted in comments, or PMed to
raphiael.
Have fun!
